The program is fully sponsored by DST – NIMAT. This program creates an awareness of the need and importance of entrepreneurship based upon latest technology on ‘Internet of Things’.

ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida celebrates B. Tech and MBA 1st Year Orientation Program

The Departments of Applied Science & Humanities and Management Studies, under the aegis of ITS Engineering College, organized their 14th and 11th Orientation Program for B. Tech and MBA first year students respectively with great verve and vigour. The program that took place from 19th August to 23rd August, 2019 had a plethora of events ranging from academics to literary and cultural. The venue for the program was Sardar Patel Auditorium that was filled with energy and excitement due to a heavy footfall of freshers.

International Conference on the theme “Marketing to Centennials in Digital World”

Department of MBA, ITS Engineering College Organised the 1st International Conference on Marketing “MarkTech” on 5th April 2019 on the theme “Marketing to Centennials in Digital World”. Mr. Hitesh Sood, AVP & Head (Marketing), Vodafone Idea was the chief guest and Mr. Inbarajan, Senior Vice President- Growth & strategy, Info Edge India Ltd (Naukri.com) graced the occasion as the Key note speaker for the day. The conference also featured some high profile speakers like Mr. Vikas Sachdeva, Country Head (International Ad Sales) at Star TV Network and Mr. VivekPaladhi, Regional Sales Head, Paytm; and panelists like Mr. AnimeshPuri, Senior Business Development Manager, Alibaba Cloud; Ms. Divya Agarwal, Project Manager, Grail Insights andMr. Y. Atul Mohan, Area Sales Manager, Nestle India who shared their valuable thoughts and insights with the students in the various sessions.

Expert Talk by Mr. Praveen Kumar on “Internet of Things”

Greater Noida, Thursday 18 April, 2019: ITS Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized a Expert Talk on “Internet of Things” by Mr. Praveen Kumar.

The opening of program was made by welcoming Mr. Praveen Kumar with a bouquet of flowers by Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida followed by a introductory speech by Mr. Abhishek Shivhare, Assistant Professor of CSE department. Mr. Kumar is a Technologist (Developer, designer and tester), Speaker and Trainer and has worked in companies like LIS Technology and Robosapiens and is currently working as System Engineer in TCS, Gurgaon.

B.Tech Students Understanding Industry Production Process

Department of Mechanical Engineering, ITS Engineering College Greater Noida has organized an industrial visit for B. Tech third year students. In continuation of yesterday visit to India Piston and Rings Pvt. Ltd. situated in Sahibabad, 50 more students have visited to the same company today. He has summarized about the product and work function of company. After interaction with HR head, they visit to the plant. They have the information about the manufacturing. They also have the working information about the different type of manufacturing machines placed inside the plant. Further, they visit to testing and quality control department. They got the information about the testing .

Industrial Visit of ME Final Year

Department of Mechanical Engineering, ITS Engineering College Greater Noida has organized an industrial visit for B. Tech Final year students. Students visited the Carlsberg India Pvt. Ltd. Company, Dharuhera. Company manufactures two popular brands of beer. 20 students reached Carlsberg India Pvt. Ltd. Company, Dharuhera at 10 AM. They have a meeting with HR Head. He has summarized about the products and their production processes. After interaction with HR head, they visited the plant. Students observed the heating of rice, malt and water through the boilers and a slurry paste is made. After this the slurry paste is refined and its fermentation is done for 8 days. After fermentation, yeast is mixed to it to make alcohol. Finally packaging is done in bottles and cans. Students visited the product selection, process and inspection department. Students observed the functioning of boilers, compressors and condensers. Further, they visit testing and quality control department. They got the information about the testing and quality standard of the company. Coordinators of the industrial visit Mr. Rohan Srivastava, Mr. Chetan Dixit and Ms. Preeti Singh were present along with the students during the visit.

Roo-Ba-Roo

The Cultural committee of ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida has organized‘Roo-Ba-Roo’. The aim of the program was to welcome the freshmen of B.Tech First Year and MBA First Year.

The program was started with a lamp lighting ceremony by Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Singh, Executive Director of ITS – The Education Group,Dr. Gagan Deep Arora-Dean Academics, Dr. sanjay Yadav – Dean Student Welfare and Heads of the Departments. It was followed by ethereal Saraswati Vandana sung by students.
