Vision

To be a centre of excellence in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through quality education, research and innovation, producing globally competent professionals for the betterment of society.

Mission

M1: To impart quality education in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through strong fundamentals, practical learning and emerging technologies.
M2: To foster research, innovation and entrepreneurship through projects, industry interaction and real-world applications.
M3: To develop professional skills, ethical values, teamwork and lifelong learning for responsible contribution to society and continuous professional growth.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: To enable graduates to apply their knowledge and practical skills in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to pursue successful professional careers.
PEO2: To motivate graduates to pursue higher studies and research, and undertake innovation and entrepreneurial activities using emerging technologies.
PEO3: To demonstrate professional and ethical values, teamwork and lifelong learning for responsible contribution to society and continuous professional growth.

Computer Science Engineering graduates will
  • PEO1: Excel in their careers through acquiring knowledge in area of Computer Science and Engineering with usage of modern tools and emerging technologies.

Program Outcomes (New)
  • PO1: Engineering Knowledge – Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, computing, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to solve complex engineering problems.
  • PO2: Problem Analysis – Identify, formulate, review literature, and analyze complex engineering problems to reach substantiated conclusions with consideration for sustainable development.
  • PO3: Design/Development of Solutions – Design creative solutions for complex engineering problems and develop systems, components, or processes considering public health, safety, society, environment, and sustainability.
  • PO4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems – Conduct investigations using research-based knowledge, design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • PO5: Engineering Tool Usage – Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools with an understanding of their limitations.
  • PO6: The Engineer and the World – Analyze and evaluate societal, environmental, sustainability, legal, cultural, and economic aspects relevant to engineering practice.
  • PO7: Ethics – Apply ethical principles, professional ethics, diversity, inclusion, and responsibilities in engineering practice.

  • PO1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • PO4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO5: Modern Tools Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PO6: The Engineer and Society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • PO7: Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • PO8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
