Webinar on “Python and Job-Ready Skills”

On May 16, 2020, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida organized a webinar on “Python and Job-Ready Skills”. The speaker of the event was Mr. Abhinav. He is Data Scientists at Technoevans. Mr. Abhinav has worked for the fortune 500 companies across the globe. He has worked on projects like Sales forecasting for the fortune retail client, marketing platform for the World largest transportation company. He has been analytical in his thought & approach. He is a great problem solver with keen interest in data & related technologies.

Webinar on “Artificial Intelligence ”

On 11th May, 2020. Department of Computer Science & Engineering, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida organized a webinar on “Artificial Intelligence(AI)”. The speaker of the event was Mr. Rahul Pathak. He is Head the Machine Learning and Product Development  Department at CETPA Group of Companies. Mr. Pathak is also the lead Developer and Analyst for CETPA’s Smart Enquiry and Conversion System. He has vast experience and expertise on various technologies.


The event was organized by Dr. Ashish Kumar , Professorand Head of Department and was facilitated by Mr. Devesh Garg & Mr. Abhishek Shivhare (Asst. Professor-CSE). Mr. Pathak  explained about AI and why Python is required for coding in AI. Mr Pathak gave hands on Training  to students on the various data sets and students learnt  AI coding on Spyder  and run AI programs.


The webinar  was concluded by question and answer session. It was highly interactive and the students got a deep insight into AI related coding.  The webinar attendance was 230 that included students and faculty from various departments.

“CODIGO-2K20”

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized an event “CODIGO-2K20” for all branches of B. Tech students on 20,21,22 May, 2020 on an online platform . The event had three rounds which were executed in a proper sequence.

                                 The first round was “General Technical Questions” related to computer science which had a total of 200 participants, who participated in that round. The second round was “Error & Output Finding” In which we had a total of 50 participants who got selected out of the 200 students from the previous round. The third round was “Coding” in which we had a total of 10 Participants who got selected out of 50 participants from the previous round. 

Webinar on “The Added Values of Innovation in Advanced Materials”

Department of Mechanical Engineering-ITS Engineering College Gr. Noida  organized a Webinar on

“The Added Values of Innovation in Advanced Materials” by Dr. Mikael Syvajarvi from Linkoping University, Sweden and Co-Founder of ALMINICA AB.


Dr. Mikael Syvajarvi has been in materials research since 1995. He started with creating spin-off companies and technology transfer in 2005. His focus is entrepreneurial research to create more usefulness from research and innovation. His focus now is to create innovation capacity. This is the role of innovation in a broader context for value chains and regional growth.

Webinar on “Production Planning & Control ”

Department of Mechanical Engineering-ITS Engineering College Gr. Noida  organized a Webinar on“Production Planning & Control ” by Mr. Gurpreet Singh (Plant Head, ADVICS North India Pvt. Limited). ADVICS North India Pvt. Limited is a Japanese company and manufacturer of Automobile Components. ADVICS Group has 22 Manufacturing units across the globe.


Mr. Gurpreet Singh focused on the importance of SAP modules, which is one of the best providers of business software solutions towards efficient production planning and data management in organizations across industries.  He emphasized to deal with the complexities of real time scheduling problems with obligations to impulsive demands and several uncertainties in the production system. Furthermore, Mr. Gurpreet envisaged the need for improvising the effectiveness of manufacturing industries to achieve operational excellence, which can cater to the ubiquity of sufficiently high-quality products with lower production cost and fast product deliveries. 

E- Workshop on MATLAB

On May 15, 2020, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.T.S. Engineering College organized an International” “E- Workshop on MATLAB”. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Avneet Kaur, Head the MATLAB and PLC & SCADA Product Developer at the CETPA Groups of Companies. I.T.S.E.C. Executive Director- Dr. Vikas Singh, Director- Prof. Sanjay Yadav and Dean (Academics)- Prof. Gagan Deep Arora presence graced the program. The guest was facilitated by HOD ECE- Prof. Monika Jain.

Expert Talk Webinar

On May 18, 2020, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.T.S. Engineering College organized an webinar  “Classification of objects using Deep Networks”. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Dinesh K. Vishwakarma Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology, Delhi Technological University. I.T.S.E.C. Executive Director- Dr. Vikas Singh, Director- Prof. Sanjay Yadav and Dean (Academics)- Prof. Gagan Deep Arora presence graced the program. The guest was facilitated by HOD ECE- Prof. Monika Jain.

Webinar on “IoT ”

The event began by felicitation of Mr. Shubham Aggarwal by Professor and Head of Department Dr. Monika Jain. Mr. Aggarwal explained that Internet of Things (IOT) is a network of physical objects embedded electronics, software, sensors and network connectivity which enables these objects to collect and exchange data. He explained about various protocols and domains used in IOT. Proceeding through the session he explained building blocks of IOT. Mr. Aggarwal educated student about the major concerns of security and privacy in IOT. The STTP was concluded by question and answer session.

Webinar on “Issues In Deep Sub-micron VLSI Design"

The event began by felicitation of Dr. Kaushik Saha by Professor and Head of Department Dr. Monika Jain. Dr.Saha explained students how, scaling of CMOS circuits into deep submicron region. In deep submicron design the circuit is very dense and connections are very close. Proceeding through the session Dr. Saha explained how the size of the transistor reduces to 70 percent as the time increases. He also discussed how the speed of devices can be increased through scaling. He explained about snap dragon transistors that arewidely used in Samsung products. Dr. Saha further made students aware regarding the career opportunities available in VLSI industry. At the end of the session “Q & A” were taken up Dr. Saha, where students asked their doubts.

Webinar on “Career After Engineering"

On May 11th, 2020, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.T.S. Engineering College organized a Webinar on “CAREER AFTER ENGINEERING”. The guest was facilitated by the Dr. Monika Jain, HoD-ECE.


This webinar was very informative and interactive that the students were able to know about the company actual expectation from students and how student can prepared themselves for higher studies. The lecture was even more interesting with the examples he gave relating to each topic. It was wonderful Knowledge sharing and gaining webinar regarding the career after engineering. Mr. Ritesh Jain interacted with the students.

On May 13, 2020, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.T.S. Engineering College organized an International Webinar on “Smart Electrification Strategies for Future Autonomous Modes of E-Transportation”. The talk was delivered by the eminent speaker Dr. Sheldon S. Williamson, Prof. & Canada Research Chair, Ontario Tech University, Canada. I.T.S.E.C. Executive Director- Dr. Vikas Singh, Director- Prof. Sanjay Yadav and Dean (Academics)- Prof. Gagan Deep Arora presence graced the program. The guest was facilitated by HOD ECE- Prof. Monika Jain.

This session was full of tips for the upcoming generation, how they can provide valuable inputs in this emerging field of research. At the end of the session, queries of the participants were taken up by the Prof. Williamson. He concluded his talk by suggesting that in Indian scenario of autonomous transportation system, “Make in India” policy will lead to economic solutions. This will reduce the overall cost of E- transportation system in India.

On May 28, 2020, e-Yantra Lab ECE Department, ITS Engineering College organized Webinar on “Webinar on Imagined Speech: An upcoming development in Brain Computer Interface (BCI)”. The talk was delivered by the Dr. Yash Vardhan Varshney (IIT BOMBAY).                                         Dr. Yash Vardhan Varshney provided information about the possibilities in the field of Brain Computer Interface (BCI),which provides a direct connection from the human brain to a computer. BCIs translate brain activity into control signals for numerous applications, including tools to help severely disabled users communicate and improve their quality of life. He explained about the existing and current issues handled by experts of the field with some of his own research experience.
