Faculty Development Program on Block Chain Technology

#CSEDepartment of ITS Engineering College, affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, one of the Premier Institutions in the field of #Engineering and #Management #Education successfully organized one week #FDP from 17-21 January, 2020 on “Block Chain Technology” by Eduxlabs in association with NSS, IIT Roorkee. The #college has the legacy of creating facilities and environment to prepare #faculty & #students for #newchallenges. The conduction of this program has further strengthened this initiative. The basic objective of the program was to enhance knowledge of faculty in latest technology and to foster a better environment for #Innovation in the #AcademicInstitutions.
The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of Mr Sohil Chadha , Vice Chairman, Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director, Dr. Gagan Deep Arora, Dean Academics, Dr. DrSanjay Yadav, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE & faculty of CSE department of ITS Engineering college and faculty participants from other reputed #engineeringcolleges and #Universities like Galgotias College Of Engineering And Technology, Jamia milia islamia, Sharda University also graced the occasion.
Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director of ITS Engineering College thanked the speaker Mr. Bipul Shahi for sharing their valuable knowledge on “Block Chain Technology” and gave token of appreciation to the distinguished guest Mr. Bipul Shahi and told that such events not only encourages the faculty members to maintain their intellectual curiosity but also helps them in adapting to the changing technologies. In the end, certificates were distributed to the participants by Keynote speakers

Poster Presentation at PAN-IIM World Management Conference

Dr. Kamal Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA made poster presentation on the topic “Market Timing Ability of Mutual Fund Managers in India: An Empirical Study” at 7th PAN- IIM World Management Conference organized by IIM Rohtak from 12-14 December, 2019. The study was focused on the market timing ability of mutual fund managers using Treynor & Mazuay Model and Henrikkson & Merton Model on daily NAV values.
PAN-IIM is annual event Initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), aims to create a forum where the best minds of the country and the world to come together to create an opportunity to deliberate on current issues of management, initiate collaborative efforts, and contribute to the existing knowledge pool.

The conference expects to attract the intellectual working in the domain of finance and banking area, which will help in knowledge sharing, understanding and promoting the best innovative practices and motivate researchers to address the new gap /issues in this emerging research topic. 
The seminar will focus on the contemporary and emerging trends of FinTech innovations and developments involved and how markets and the financial sector in particular, are adopting new delivery channels, products and technologies. Workshop On Value Engineering

Department of Mechanical and Civil #engineering organized the on 14th Nov 2019. The workshop was conducted by Prof. K. R. Chari, Dean (SW) BIMTECH-Birla Institute of Management Technology were the invited guest. He shared his experiences and talked about value analysis, usage, and applications of best from the waste. His expertise on waste management system encouraged the students to work in such areas. #B.tech. ME, CE second year and third year students and faculties were present at the event.

Entrepreneurshipawarenesscamp is being organized by ITS Engineering College for 3 days at K M Government Girls Polytechnic College, Badalpur, Gautambuddha Nagar from 13th Nov to 15th Nov 2019.
The program is fully sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The goal of this program is to make students aware about the different areas of skills where they can establish themselves as #Entrepreneur and create the job for others. The program was started with lamp lightening by the dignitaries - Dr. S P Mishra, Advisor, I.T.S - The Education Group and Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director, I.T.S The Education Group.
Dr. Vikas Singh started the session with highlighting that India is witnessing an upsurge of technology-driven and Knowledge - based enterprise. Whether it is the field of conventional business or any other modern business a sudden spurt in the number of new ventures or startups have taken the country by surprise.

World Television Day Celebration

To provide an insight about the present scenario and developments in the field of Television Industry and its socio-economic impact on the Society, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, ITS Engineering College organized an expert talk on “Developments and Present Scenario of Television Industry”. The guest was felicitated by Dr. Monika Jain, HOD-ECE. The talk was delivered by Mr. Anurodh Srivastava Assistant General Manager- Manufacturing Operations & Services at IDEMIA, NOIDA (formerly known as Syscom Corporation). During his talk Mr. Srivastava shared his views on the developments of #television industry from the inception of Black & White Television to Color Television Industry to LED and LCD TV. He said that the television #industry has changed from time-slot vision to perception vision.

All the students of ECE enthusiastically attended the talk. The program was coordinated by Dr. Ashish Gupta (Professor), Mr. Agha Husain (Assistant Professor) & Mr. Navneet Kumar (Assistant Professor).

Boot Camp organized by PDP team

The training team at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida has organized a boot camp last week at the campus, with a sharp focus to improve #communication #skills of the #students. Several important topics such as preparation for #group #discussions, #interviews and #extempore were conducted during these sessions. Multiple rounds of group discussions were conducted over different factual, #controversial and #abstract #topics.


Students learnt the #rules of group discussion and #enthusiastically expressed their opinions. They have also learnt to answer the tricky key questions of personal interviews. At the same time they have also participated in extempore. All the activities were designed to make them #confident and #creative communicators and to develop their #thinking abilities. Apart from the soft skills students were also coached at various #aptitude topics to develop their #analytical and #problem #solving skills.
