For many organizations, developing mobile apps is a worthwhile way to spend time and money because these apps can help boost employees' productivity. Through a mobile application, users can accomplish a difficult and time-consuming business process in just a few minutes or even seconds. Still, each kind of app comes with challenges. iOS App development is a new dimension in mobile app development. iOS is the second most popular mobile operating system platform in the world, after Android. The vision of this lab is to build native applications for iPhone and iPad in the field of mobile app development, bridging the gap between academia and industry.G

Training for Skill Development

1. To be familiar with environment of Apple OS and Apple iOS X.

2. Learn to work with iOS XCODE-6 and higher version.

3. To be familiar with Objective C programming and apply the OOPS concepts in Objective C.

4. Learn to start iOS App development from the scratch.

5. Able to develop good quality applications and deploy Apps on Apple App Store.

6. After the Course, students will be employable and ready to adopt by industry.

Program Details

Training course for iOS has been divided into three levels. Each level has been divided into theory and practical session as follows.

1. Level-1 (Basic)  : 70 Hr. ( Theory: 30 Hr. + Practical: 40 Hr.)

2. Level-2 (Intermediate) : 70 Hr. ( Theory: 30 Hr. + Practical: 40 Hr.)

3. Level-3 (Advance)  : 70 Hr. ( Theory: 30 Hr. + Practical: 40 Hr.)

 

Each session consist of lecture cum discussion followed by hands on practical session.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to demonstrate the working of Mac OS and XCODE.

Students will have an ability to understand and write program in Objective C

Students will be able to run and debug the program on XCODE-6

Students will be able to develop and deploy good quality application.

Students will be able to explain the process of distribution of App on Apple App Store.

It is the first company to offer the Indian Mobile Operators, high capacity cards with 128K and 256K memory as well as 3G USIM. These diverse fields of the company offer the students to be familiar with the environment of smart card operating system.21

Software Testing 

Software testing is the core of IT industry in today’s world. Any developed software is tested for customer satisfaction and product reliability. COE software testing is in collaboration with ITB (Indian Testing Board) and SALT (School of applied learning in Testing). ITB is approved by national board of India, responsible for the “ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board) Certified Tester” certification in India. SALT is pioneered and steered by world renounced experts in software engineering. The vision of software testing is to be a globally renowned centre for software testing based on best practices, connecting the international software testing community and encouraging research.
